A soft silicone wound contact layer suitable for the treatment of various injuries such as fingertip injuries, abrasions, burns, lacerations and diabetic ulcers. Also ideal for, for example, wounds caused by sliding on artificial grass. The wound contact layer does not stick to the wound and does not interfere with wound healing. It has good adhesive strength to the wound margins, keeping it in place during secondary dressing changes. The contact layer may remain on the wound for 14 days.
