The Cryo Professional is a cryosurgical product for the professional market. It can be used to treat benign lesions in patients over 4 years of age. Cryotherapy is a method of freezing the lesions with the aim of removing them. The product consists of a mixture of dimethyl ether with propane / isobutane. Cryotherapy is known to be a reliable and effective method. With the Cryo Professional you can treat different types of benign lesions such as hand and foot warts, genital warts, skin warts, water warts, but also age spots or pigment spots. The treatment time of the lesions can vary depending on the type of lesion and is on average between 15-40 seconds. You can easily find the treatment times per lesion in the instructions for use. During or immediately after the treatment, you may experience a slightly painful or stinging sensation that will gradually go away. Bubbles may form after a few days. In this case, it is important not to pierce the bladder, but to cover it with a plaster. Before treatment, inform your patient what to expect during and after treatment with regard to follow-up care and possible side effects. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 2 weeks.
